Seeing progress

I like this feeling of progression and seeing results, it helps me stay focused.... Very happy with the toile review today, i felt it went well and gotgot plenty of encouraging feedback.

New direction for project :)

I found my original project direction a little limiting once i got to a point and found myself putting too much thought into some designs and for me that is a major no no when being creative. I like when i am unable to track down the direct source of inspiration because i belive this means the idea comes from a deeper place and those designs stand a much better chance of being original and innovative.

On/Off Fashion week

It has been a very interesting week, never a dull moment, saw some wonderful and bizzare designs, people and attitudes. There was so much work put into the event and it felt good to get involved in the nitty gritty physical jobs after spending some years sitting at an office desk. The experiance has not changed my opinions about the fashion industry, but i did learn that for me to stay sain in this business i will have to keep a lot of my current life style intact.....

I am very gratefull for the oppotunity and look forward to getting involved in more events like this :)
